Do not vote in West Chester until you read this!
Citizens for Community Values Action (CCVA) has two non-negotiable issues: abortion and marriage. We believe in the sanctity of life and natural marriage between one man and one woman. As the Chairman of CCVA and a twelve-year resident of West Chester, I was shocked to learn that West Chester Trustee Catherine Stoker is not only pro-abortion, but has given money to EMILY’s List on thirteen different occasions since 2001. (Click here to view her donation records.)
Ms. Stoker’s support of EMILY’s List, a national organization that works to elect pro-abortion candidates, makes the issue of abortion relevant to her office as West Chester trustee. Ms. Stoker, a Democrat, also financially supported President Obama’s campaign. Since the Ohio Democratic Party and President Obama support same-sex marriage, residents in West Chester must also demand to know where she stands on the issue of marriage. Ms. Stoker has made these two issues germane to this trustee election, but the voters of West Chester deserve to know where she stands on these important issues.
CCV Action PAC received the completed questionnaires from Mr. Mark Welch and Mr. Matthew King. Based upon their answers, CCV Action PAC has endorsed both candidates for West Chester Trustee.
